A complex composition of base materials, oxides, resins and polyamides, each with a specific function, that together form a unique compound originally designed for surfacing swimming pools.

The product has been on the market for nine years in its current form and used exclusively as a swimming pool surface coating.  Trials have been conducted regarding other potential applications, such as marine hulls, roofing, insulation and many more.

Although applied in liquid form, once set and cured, the resulting surface is comparable in most respects to a conventional ceramic tile and shares many attributes, particularly hardness, smoothness, durability, in addition to flexibility enabling the material to withstand substantial temperature variances.

Application is simple (by means of a standard, high quality paint roller) and relatively quick, making it more cost effective than most other pool surface coatings.

When used as a swimming pool surface coating, the application comprises two coats.  The first or prime coat has a viscosity that enables it to seek out and penetrate the minutest porosity in and become part of, the receiving surface.  The second or surface coat is designed by way of chemical reaction to fuse with the first coat, the entire application becoming part of the original structure.  Because of the design and nature of the material, it is very important to ensure the receiving surface is prepared in accordance with manufacturers instructions, thoroughly cleaned and free of any deleterious matter.

The material is naturally white but can be coloured by means of pigment introduced during manufacture, resulting in full or solid colour thru ought the material.
