The village offers a comprehensive range of services, from traditional tavernas, small coffee bars and restaurants set right beside the beach, to a good selection of shops catering for all one’s holiday needs, internet cafes and ATM’s.
Almyrida is also in close proximity to the National highway, with the city of Chania, its airport and the Souda ferry port only a half hour’s drive away. There are also many small unchanged typical hillside villages and other seaside towns and bays, all within a few kilometres.
